Who pays the Belgian transaction tax (TOB or "beurstaks" or "taxe sur les opérations boursières")?

Belgian residents are required to pay a transaction tax on each purchase and sale of a financial asset, for instance for stocks, ETFs, bonds... However, funds that meet certain conditions are exempt. And only funds that meet these criteria are included in the portfolios managed by NNEK. This means you don't have to pay any transaction tax on your investments.

You can see the details on the Belgian government's Fisconet website.
