How do I withdraw my investments?

How to withdraw

  1. Go to Portfolios
  2. Select the portfolio you want to withdraw from
  3. Scroll down to Settings
  4. Tap Withdraw

Good to know

  • The minimum withdrawal is €50.
  • If you withdraw more than 90% of your portfolio, all your assets will be sold and your account will be closed.
  • You can only have one withdrawal at a time. Wait until it's fully processed before starting a new one.

How long do withdrawals take?

Once started, withdrawals can take up to 9 business days to reach your bank account. Here's what happens:

  • Pending investments settle first: We can't start a withdrawal while you have pending investments. So if you withdraw while an investment is still ongoing, for instance your monthly contribution, we wait until that investment is settled first.
  • Orders sent to fund providers (1 business day): Once you've chosen your amount, the orders are sent to the fund providers (Vanguard, BlackRock and Amundi).
  • Settlement period (1-2 business days): This is the time it takes to confirm a trade. On a stock exchange, a clearinghouse facilitates trades between buyers and sellers and can guarantee the trade, which is why you see those trades directly in your broker account. Curvo's funds don't have a clearinghouse, so you need to wait for the settlement period: T+2 or T+1 (respectively two or one business day after order execution).
  • Bank transfer (up to 5 business days): Once the order has settled, the money is sent to your bank account.

At what price are my assets sold?

When you request a withdrawal, your request is processed the next business day. Depending on the fund, your assets are sold at the share price of that day, or the following business day.

Which bank account will the money be sent to?

We send the money to the bank account linked to your Curvo account.
